100 years ago next year, the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition put Seattle on the map, celebrating the culture, industry and innovation that still define our region today.
To help Heritage 4Culture, HistoryLink, and the Seattle’s Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, celebrate the anniversary of the event, an effort is underway to mark the anniversary with the largest parade of pipers and drummers to ever hit downtown Seattle.

The opportunities for news coverage and media exposure are going to be significant, and the more people hear and see the talent of Washington State bagpipe bands, the more people will be interested in joining us in this unique and rewarding experience.
